Since 2011, we’ve had one mission: making fieldwork easier and more enjoyable with smart technology. It all started with a simple thought: surely, things can be much simpler? That idea grew into the WerkbonApp in 2012, which completely transformed the way companies organize their field service. Today, countless organizations worldwide rely on our solution.

From the very beginning, we’ve had one guiding principle: listen to the market. Together with a group of enthusiastic early adopters, we built WerkbonApp step by step. With great dedication, it grew into much more than just a work order app — it became a complete digital toolbox that helps companies work smarter and take their field service to the next level. A true all-in-one solution.

By 2016, the strength of the concept was undeniable. Founders Steven Rigter and Bas Langenhuizen decided to fully dedicate themselves to the development and growth of WerkbonApp. That brought sharper focus, better operations, and a product that grew stronger every single day.

From WerkbonApp to OutSmart International

Our mission is to improve and digitize work processes, moving toward a world without paper, by offering user-friendly and affordable field service solutions. That’s why our software has become much more than just an app.

In 2019, we decided to change our name to OutSmart. The word “to outsmart” literally means “to be one step ahead.” And that’s exactly what drives us: helping companies gain control over their field service and business processes.

Our foundation remains the same — managing the field (out) in a smart way. At the same time, we wanted an international name that reflects our ambition to grow beyond borders: OutSmart International
