What is a day pass?
Introduction
This article explains what a \"day pass\" is in OutSmart and how it provides temporary access for occasional users. It will detail the benefits, explain when it's most suitable, and address common questions.
Detailed Explanation
A \"day pass\" in OutSmart offers temporary access to the system's functionalities for individuals who do not have a permanent account. This feature is designed specifically for freelancers, contractors, or other individuals who only occasionally need to use OutSmart, such as for registering hours worked or completing work orders. The day pass provides a cost-effective alternative to a full license for those who only perform tasks infrequently, typically around once a month. If someone needs to use OutSmart more regularly, a full license becomes a more financially viable option.
Terms and Conditions of Day Pass Usage
- A day pass is deducted at the end of the day (12:00 AM).
- A day pass is only deducted if at least one work order is scheduled for that day for the flex worker. Multiple work orders per day for the same flex worker will only cost one day pass.
- The system checks the employee number linked to a work order, hours on a work order, or used in the timesheet. No distinction is made between work orders with the status planned, prepared, picked up, completed, or processed.
- Retroactively adjusting or rescheduling work orders does not entitle you to a refund of a day pass.
- Failure to implement changes in the planning in a timely manner never entitles you to a refund of a day pass.
- When the day pass balance becomes negative, a new day pass bundle will be automatically ordered.
