Warehouses

Introduction

Since you can register used items in work orders, it makes sense to create transactions for your stock. To do so, you have to create warehouse(s) in your account.

Detailed Explanation

By creating warehouses, you create the possibility to fill your warehouse(s) with stock. In a work order you can add items and per item you can select from which warehouse you got that item. When the work order is completed (executed), the number of registered items will be subtracted from the stock of the selected warehouse.

How to create a warehouse

  1. Go to Items and click the tab Warehouses
  2. Click Add, to add a warehouse
  3. For each warehouse you have to fill in the following fields: Code (unique), Type (Building, Vehicle, Cylinder or Other), and Description
  4. Optional fields include Main warehouse (parent warehouse), Picture, Task description order level reached, Task responsibility, Start date, End date, Inspection date, and Note
