Introduction

In OutSmart, a project serves as a 'collection' for multiple work orders. If you have a job that spans several weeks, you can create a project and link all related work orders to it. This article will guide you through the process of creating work orders and associating them with the project.

How to link a work order to a project

  1. Create a new work order and select the project
  2. When you select the project, the customer, project number/external number of this project will be filled in automatically on the work order
  3. You can possibly add the project activity for that specific work order
  4. Select save and this work order is now connected to the project you have selected
