Object free fields

Introduction

After creating an object, you may want to create custom fields. For example, if you want to add a field for 'year of construction' but there isn't a standard field for it, it can be useful to create these custom fields. You can create and name these fields yourself.

Adding a free field in the object overview

1. Go to the objects section and select a random object
2. You will see the 'item details' section, followed by the 20 custom fields
3. Select the wrench icon to edit the field name for all objects
4. After making the changes, click 'Save' to confirm the new name
5. You have now created a custom field, which can be filled in via the 'Edit' option
