Menu Items
Introduction
Within OutSmart it is possible to make a custom menu to quickly navigate to sections that are used the most.
Detailed Explanation
OutSmart offers the possibility to set a custom menu. Here you can navigate to pages that are used often by setting the URL for that page when making a new menu item. This page does not have to be within the OutSmart program. Any URL can be set. For example if you would like to add a button to the menu to quickly open a website, just add the URL and you are able to navigate to that website through the custom Menu.
Step-by-Step Guide
- Log in to an active OutSmart account
- Navigate to the Menu Items option via the Settings button in the bottom left
- Click on the add button and the below menu will open:
- Title: Here you can name the menu item. This name will be shown in the Custom Menu.
- Url (Dropdown): The first URL option is a drop down with four pre-sets. Selecting an option here will overwrite the title. These pre-sets are already in the menu so these are not used very often. An option does not have to be chosen.
- Url (Text Field): This URL is mandatory. Copy and paste the full URL here. This will not overwrite the title.
- Position in menu: This is a mandatory field. Here the position of the new menu item will be determined in the Custom Menu.
- Active: Tick this box to make the menu item active. When the above steps are done correctly the menu item will be shown after a page reset is done.
