How to create a workorder for subcontractors

Introduction

This instruction will show how to assign workorders to subcontractors.

Step-by-Step Guide

  1. Log into the OutSmart BackOffice account.
  2. Start creating a workorder.
  3. Fill in all relevant data and click in the top right corner click on the drop down arrow next to Save.
  4. This will show the option to Save and view the new workorder.
  5. This will open the workorder. In the top right corner click on 'Subcontractor contract'.
  6. Add a job description so it is clear what work needs to be done.
  7. Add a start and end date. This is the timeframe in which the workorder must be completed.
  8. Optionally, select that a Bidding is required for price agreement.
  9. Click on save.
  10. Below the save button you will see a column with three options. The Requests option is highlighted by default. To actually send the request to a subcontractor click on 'Send new request' and select the subcontractor.
  11. Click on 'Send Request'.
  12. To finalize the request go back to the Requests tab and click on 'Approve request'.
