How to change the Object Code

It is possible to change the Object Code if this is required. However, as with all number changes, there can be severe consequences.

Changing object codes can have severe consequences. Issues that can occur can affect your work orders, contracts, quotes, invoices and historic references. Proceed with caution.

Step-by-Step Guide

  1. Selects Objects in the left menu bar
  2. Select the object that you want the edit
  3. Click on the 'Edit' button in the top right
  4. Click on the 'Lock' button
  5. A pop-up will appear, asking if you want to continue, only do so if you are sure
  6. Change the code and press 'Save' to save your changes
