Displaying Resources on the Scheduler

Introduction

It is possible to display resources on the Scheduler to monitor their availability alongside employees. This is useful for planning and allocating shared equipment or vehicles.

Step 1: Create a Resource Category

To make a resource visible on the Scheduler, it must first be linked to a resource category. Go to Settings → Assets → Resource Category and create a new category as needed.

Step 2: Link the Resource to the Category

After the category is created: Go to Settings → Device management → Resources. Open the resource you want to display and click 'Edit'. Under the section 'Template and Resource', select the category you created under 'Resource Category'.

Step 3: View the Resource on the Scheduler

Once a resource is linked to a category, it will automatically appear in the Scheduler. This allows for quick visual reference of the availability of that resource.

Note: Only resources assigned to a category will appear on the Scheduler.
