# Warehouses Overview ## What is it? Warehouses store your inventory (materials, parts, tools). You track stock levels and issue items for work orders. ## What can it do? - Create multiple warehouses (building, vehicle, cylinder, other) - Create sub-warehouses under a main warehouse - Track stock quantity and set minimum/maximum levels - Register items to warehouses - Automatically alert staff when stock reaches minimum - Associate warehouses with employees - Restrict which warehouses employees can access - Delete warehouses (data retained for historical reports) ## How to use it 1. Go to Items > Warehouses 2. Click Add to create a new warehouse 3. Enter a unique code 4. Select warehouse type (building, vehicle, cylinder, other) 5. Add a description and optional photo 6. Set minimum stock levels and preferred stock quantity 7. Optionally assign as sub-warehouse to a parent 8. Click Save 9.
